Graciela Arguedas, pianist from Costa Rica, has been living in Connecticut since 2004 and studying at Eastman School of Music in Rochester, New York.

2005-2008 Graciela attended the Pre-College program at Mannes in New York City while attending high school at Greens Farms Academy.
January 2008: Graciela won the Jeniam Foundation Scholarship by placing first in the Stamford Symphony Competition in.
April 2008: Graciela performs the Shostakovich Symphony No. 2 with the Hartford Symphony Orchestra.
September 2008: she has just arrived at the Eastman School of Music in Rochester, NY, to study with Douglas Humphreys.
June, 2009: Graciela spent the month of June studying with Blanca Uribe in Medellin, Colombia. One more Tchaikovsky Piano Concerto under finger!
October 2009: Graciela is now a sophomore at Eastman School of Music in Rochester, NY. She is enjoying chamber music and accompanying a singer and a violinist this year, as well as exploring the mysteries of the organ. Ten fingers and two feet on four manuals - interesting!
